Explore Pharmaceutical manufacturing(EMPC) is a strategic greenfield project established to address Ethiopia critical dependency on imported sterile intravenous(IV) fluids. EMPC will construct a state – of the art –facility to produce high quality, affordable large volume parental (LVP) solutions, including Normal saline, Ringers Lactate and Dextrose and other products in the future. The plant is designed for full compliance with world health organization Good manufacturing practices (WHO-GMP) and Ethiopian food and drug authority (EFDA) standards.
